We did not sit on the hibachi side but ordered sushi rolls from the menu. They were very nicely arranged in a decorative boat. Waitress patiently told us which rolls were which -- twice -- as it was our first time here and we never have all the rolls served on one platter. The hibachi chicken from the kid's menu was a good amount of chicken along with soup, vegetables, rice. The extra seaweed salad and miso soup that was ordered was quickly eaten up without comment so I assume it was good. The other side of the restaurant had a steady stream of customers who appeared to be enjoying themselves and the fiery show. It was busy on Sunday afternoon but we had good service and good food. It is off County Line Road and not too far from the airport.
Very busy on Mother's Day 2021, but the staff still managed to make our experience very pleasant! We will definitely return.
The staff is great; & the food is incredible. I have been eating here since 2009, and I still crave the hibachi meals & sushi all the time. The best sushi is the summer roll. Yum yum sauce is good on everything.They also do call in/take out orders, which I love because I always want this food, but don't always want the whole dine-in experience
Food is 5 stars, but the service is not. I don't care for the atmosphere and I prefer to call-in our order or order online. The last time we ordered online we were given an approximate 55 minute wait time. We came in right on time and still stood there for 15 minutes waiting on them to prepare our food. They weren't very busy either. All of that aside, this is still our favorite place to get hibachi and sushi locally. The food is consistently fresh and delicious.
My wife and I moved to Madison a year ago and we finally found our go to spot for top tier Japanese food! Everything about this place is great! You won’t find better hibachi options anywhere else in and around the area. Service was fast and punctual. The food and drink option are fantastic, and the best I’ve had in a long time! Thank you for the wonderful experience, and we will definitely be coming back.
We had the best experience here! We went on a Thursday night and we were seated promptly at the tabletop grill with other families. The waitress took our drink orders and then we ordered off the menu. The chef/ entertainer was there shortly after and began the show. We were all very entertained and he even let those of us who didn't order shrimp try a piece. My 5 year old proclaimed the noodles and chicken "the best food ever!" The soup was full of flavor and the salad was nice and gingery. A great time was had by all.
Found our new favorite Sushi place! Staff is friendly, food was delicious, and the price is reasonable. Will be coming back!
What an awesome experience! Best hibachi I’ve been too. The chef was engaging, funny and of course there was lots of fire!
